Chocolate Nation is open every day, including public holidays. So you can visit us anytime. As a holder of the Antwerp City Pass, you do not need to reserve a specific time slot in advance. Simply report to our ticket desk in the central entrance hall and have the QR code in the Antwerp City Pass app scanned by our staff. Once the QR code has been processed, you will receive access to the museum and your journey of discovery can begin.
We will take you on a 60 to 90-minute journey through the story of Belgian chocolate. The experience starts on the cocoa plantations at the equator and follows the cocoa bean all the way to Antwerp, home to the largest cocoa storage port in the world. A gigantic fantasy machine shows how Belgian chocolate is made and how its velvety smooth taste is created.
Chocolate traditions, history, brands, products, and innovations that shaped its worldwide reputation... you will discover them all during your journey through the museum. During your visit, you will taste no fewer than 10 different chocolate flavors.
